What this site is, where the prices come from, and how it makes money.
Vinyl Deals UK tracks vinyl record offers on Amazon UK and puts them in one place, sorted and searchable. It exists because good pressings go in and out of stock quickly and the interesting prices are easy to miss.
How the deals get here
Deals are surfaced automatically. When a record looks like a genuine offer, its price, title, artist and cover art are pulled directly from the Amazon Creators API — Amazon's own product data service — rather than being copied by hand or scraped from a page.
The listings refresh through the day. Every price on the deals page carries the date and time it was retrieved, shown at the top of the page.
What we don't do
- No prices are typed in manually, so there's nothing to fall out of date through neglect.
- No fake "was" prices. A crossed-out price only appears when Amazon itself reports a saving basis, and only when the discount is at least 5%.
- No countdown timers, fake stock counters, or invented urgency.
